No. He actually was an excellent reformer and administrator and just one more victim of European expansionism, caused by better weapons those dull imperialists wouldn't have been able to invent themselves. I'm dreaming of a world, where engineers wouldn't serve such purposes any more, as we should have some ethics.

I think he was actually one of the better guys in history.

PS.: The part with the European imperialists is only partially true in this case, as European criminals were involved as mercenaries, but the agressor was Marocco. Here the whole story:

That is sad. In cIV, Stalin's background was not a burning city or anything violent like that but in ciV Askia is potrayed as an evil person although he is not. :(
