sound problems

I have windows 95 and a older soundblaster card. The music skips and stutters,sound stutters. I reinstalled direct x,all other games run fine. Anyone got any similiar problems?

If the problem is in smac-x, it comes from improper redering of EAX surround sound. Add a line to the alphax.ini file:
EAX=0

If it is in smac, I recall there being something in the read me file about a sound fix.
