Sounds directory contains more then 700Mb data. I thnik its a chance to lower this size by:
- changing all wav files to mp3
- remove useless files
- leave only 1 theme for civilization (instead 3 for each leader)
- cut themes and sound to reasonable long (for example instead 6 minutes to 1 or less)

This is one of my lower list projects and i was going to move them to the modmod area, just like Custom Civs. That way people can d/l what they want and dont want.
 
Sounds don't work as modules, at least the XML files don't. The xml definitions of sounds have to be in the core area. Neither the BtS nor the WoC modular systems allow them to be modules.

WoC allowed you to have them in modules but if you used the module then you had to run a process that would merge them into the core. That program was removed from C2C by SO when he was cleaning stuff up.

Yeah i was just going to use the core audio stuff and still make it a modmod to override is all. More or less like a patch.
