Sounds problem

Music is playing only when i'm in modern era. In others - i can hear only sounds from battles or moves. All sounds option is on in preferences screen.
I'm use a downloaded disc to instat C3C, so maybe some sound files are missing? How can I check this, and if there are no files - where to download them?

Any sound files you need will be in your installation package. If you downloaded it, I would contact the site you d/l'd it from and let them know you have an incomplete package.

In my "sounds" folder i have: Build, Menu folders; Boo, Era change, Ensalve unit, Ensalve ship, Sacrifice, Sacrifice_Gulp files.
Can you check in your C3C/sounds folder, that you have more files than me?

Yup, that's what I have too. But you've also got a sound folder in ...\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Sounds, and there's a bunch more than that. Possibly even in ..\Civilization III\PTW\Sounds.

Let me start over in asking a couple of questions.

Where did you buy Civ3 from?

Where did you buy Conquests from?

What exactly do you mean by 'download disc?'

Basically, I'm trying to understand where you got the game from....

I have downloaded Civ3. Downloaded disc - i mean .iso file.
I attached list of sounds files (original CivIII folder). Check it too please

Did you get your original Civ3 from download.com? If you did, then it *should* have all the files correctly placed. If you didn't, it might be a problem of mixing "download" with "CD" versions. For some reason, they don't play well together.

And, just to be sure, have you also downloaded the v1.22 patch for Conquests?

No, from download.com i have got only Conquests disc. And it's patched to 1.22f version.
I posted list of sound files (in origilal civ3 folder) - please check it. If any files are missing, i will redownload original Civ3 too from download.com too
