Just completed Nuclear Fision which allows the Manhattan Project, but I can't see it in the any city build list. Does it need another building to be built first?

No, got Uranium. Just built my first Atomic Bomb, still no Manhattan Project in any of my 20 cities. Does it appear as a building or a Wonder?

You know, I think you're right. I've just loaded up a game save where I'd just got Apollo then Manhattan, and I can't see either project listed for any city. Either a deliberate design decision, or a bug (surely not ).

If you've built an a-bomb you must have completed the project. Perhaps your just confused because it doesn't appear as a 'wonder' on your city screen (AFAIK)

Would it be built automatically when I research Nuclear Fision? I never selected it to be built anywhere.

Manhattan project is not a wonder ... it just unlocks nukes.
Same with Apollo program, which just unlocks spaceship components.

I think that's also the case for Utopia ... if you click "one more turn" after winning.

If you never built it, then it's a bug.
You have to construct the project, and it notifies all the players that <blah> completed the Manhattan Project.

Must be a bug then. Never built it, can't see it anywhere, yet I can build A-Bombs.

Curious. I swear I've built the Manhatten before and have seen it as a build option.

Edit: I loaded up a save from a couple weeks ago. I could build the Manhatten without uranium. Is it possible its like civ iv, once built it unlocks nukes for all?

Update on this one. Tried to build my first spaceship part (SS Cockpit) but can't because I haven't completed the Apollo Programme. I now don't seem to be able to build that either.

If it's not on the list, it sounds like a bug. If it's on the list but grayed out you are building it somewhere.

EDIT: If you win by building the space ship, click yes for playing one more turn and you can see it launch. I found this out after my 3rd science victory
