Spaceship Construction

What is the best spaceship design? 15S, 6C, 3M? Last game I sent that one, two years later the Carthaginains sent one with more Cs and BEAT ME TO AC!! Now I am playing around tryng to get a faster ship and can't get below 15 year flight time. ...Help?

It may just be my connection here in Seattle, WA... but I can almost never get connected to the Apolyton site. It time out, or never finishes loading.

Anyway, a SS can be flown in 5 game years (37-8-8-1-1-1, with Fusion). It is worth only 100 points, though.
