Spaceship Crash

Has anyone successfully built the spaceship yet? I'm one turn away from completing it and the game always crashes to the desktop. I know a lot of people are reporting more random crashing issues, but have people also encountered this one? Thanks!

I have successfully built a spaceship, but then I'm not experiencing crashes at all.

I built a spaceship and I'm getting glitches all over the place Most movies completely fail to work (the playback is hopelessly garbled) and in any advanced game, if I zoom out enough to show the cloud layer the game crashes.

And as I write this, my minimap's broken in some fascinating way. Sigh.

But I did manage to build a spaceship!

Didn't they playtest this game for bugs instead of just balance? :/

Well, I've played a few more games all the way to the end and every time I'm about to win, either by finishing the spaceship, winning the election, cultural victory, the game crashes to the desktop! I also get the same result when I try to retire from the game. As soon as I agree to retire, I'm back on the desktop. I've tried playing smaller maps, but the same thing happens. I'm not getting the same random crashes that other people are getting, but it's starting to get very frustrating not to be able to actually finish a game!

So, my questions: Are other people experiencing the same thing? Has anyone got a different result from retiring? What's supposed to happen? Thanks!

I've built the spaceship. You see a short movie of the spaceship orbiting a planet, crew waking up and someone looking out the window onto the new solar system.

From the subject, I thought you meant the Spaceship crashing, not Civ4
