(this is more of a discussion than a poll..)
With 4 turns left (Culture in 1828), we can achieve both a spaceship victory AND culture victory.
We get Synthetic Fibers in 2 turns (3 spaceship parts)
For spaceship:
Civantoria is already on a palace prebuild, and should be able to build the SS Exterior in 1 turn (the most expensive part to build).
Thebes can build the SS Storage/Supply in about 2 turns (160 shields).
PDX can build the Statis Chamber (320) in 3 turns (1 turn past our victory), but It can prebuild the Manhatten Project (currently being built by other nations - most likely, nearing completion), then switch when we get Synth. Fibers.
However... this means that all parts will befinished BEFORE culture sets in (city cycles are completed before the culture value is added).
Our culture is in 1828 AD, 4 turns. We could, in 2 turns, let PDX start the Status Chamber, which it will be finished in 1830, and we can all visit 'poly.
Culture is still our main goal.
