14. b4 bxc5
15. bxc5 e5
16. Nxe5 Nxe5
17. dxe5 Nd7
18. Na4

It was hard to find this move. At the beginning i was planning 18.e4, where in long variations i sacrifice a pawn for initiative but i wasnt sure if it will be enough. Then pretty good looked 18.Qd4 which appeared to be a mistake after the best 18...Bxc5 19.Qf4 Qxe5! (if not then after Na4 White is clearly better) 20.Qxe5 Nxe5 21.Nxd5 Nc4 and its over. My following move i found totaly accidentaly - why i shouldnt try to protect my pawns, eh?:D

11. a3 Qc7
12. Nd3 Rfd8
13. c5 b6
14. b4 bxc5
15. bxc5 e5
16. Nxe5 Nxe5
17. dxe5 Nd7
18. Na4 Nxc5

That may be so, however I have earned a static advantage. My c-pawn is now passed! :)

well, i still think i have a slight advantage but we will find it out very soon.:)

18. Na4 Nxc5
19. Nxc5

Here's an oppertunity for me to learn, I guess. Because I do not understand what constitutes your "slight advantage". Could you (now or later) explain the elements that work in your favour?

This is how I evaluate the position.

Captured pieces: Dead even
Coverage of the board: White -> 34 squares, Black -> 41 squares (not that I COUNT them normally)
Isolated pawns: One each
Doubled pawns: One for white
Passed pawns: One for black

You both have the Bishop pair
You have what I would cosider an annoying pin on the f-pawn
If there's any difference in development, I'd give black the edge
Black's pieces are more centralized in my opinion
Your black Bishop is blocked in by your own pawn at the moment
I don't see any particular problems with the black King's saftey

The one advantage you have is that you have two "pawn islands" versus black's three. Is that enough to offset everything else?

why do you allways doubt about my comments, eh? If i said i have a slight advantage then i really mean it. Mathematical counting is the worst thing a chessplayer should do (and thats what you are doing). Actually you dont need to listen to me, the score at the end is the most important thing anyway. I wont post any variations as a proof but the game score (or even the next few moves)will show was i correct or wrong.

If you feel so strong to criticize my moves and even comments then how about playing a game?

Panzar75, you don't need to prove anything to Spy. He's mentioned that he's IM. I'm trying to make Spy eat crow here.

Of course, if you would choose to play him for entertainment, that's fine too. To put less stress on Spy's hectic life, you can play him after I win this game. :D
