Notes: I play on a Mac, was using Warlords, and the Civ Gold 3 mod, playing a Duel game as Washington against Canute.
What happened: It was embarking on a mass invasion of Canute. I has numerous stacks (incl. Battleships, Destroyers, AC, Subs, Fighters, Transports, Navy SEALs and Artillery) off the coast of his continent. I declare war. I nuke his main city (with 4 nukes, to be sure), and in my eagerness, move my stack into the nuke radius whilst the nuke graphic is still displayed. Then, before my eyes, the nuke graphic disappears, along with the stack. I sent another stack in to investigate, and there were no units within the nine nuked tiles. So, my stack was swallowed by my eagerness.
Now, when I attempted to recreate the situation (which is what is in the attached screenshots), my units actually fought the opposing units, whilst the nuke graphic was still in effect. It then, again, swallowed up my stack.
This first image is of the stack before I declared war.
And this one shows me launching the ICBMs.
This one is when combat between by SEAL and Kublai Khan's Marine is taking place. Note the combat zoom, and the still present ICBM cloud and icon.
This is what showed when the combat was completed, and the nuke cloud disappeared. It froze on this, apparently confused, until I moved it away by dragging the mini map. Note that it is now in the fog of war, i.e. I have no units there.
This is what showed when I moved back to the same area. Fog of war again.
And this is the military screen, showing that I no longer have my stack.
Sorry for the small size. I uploaded them wrong.
