Starting Game Just Does Autoturns forever

prob a nub questions but i start game then it says auturn 1 of 170 or something then i click continue and it keeps going and going and going

autosaving each turn but i cant do anthing

i chose russia btw

wait for all 170 turns to finish then you can play, or choose babylon,egypt,china or india to play straight away

serious? i just actually read the documentation and i have to wait 170 turns to play as russia?

i know I can play as those startinf civs, but then you need to play them for 170 turns, (either making them really great, or crappy on purpose) then switch

i think there should be start dates for each faction that has the other civs preplaced up to that start date if you choose a civ that starts later

let the game autoplay and go eat some sandwich or watch TV

And just click in "CONTINUE" when the autoplay is finished cliking on it before does nothing.
