Steam doesn't sell CiV soundtrack.

Yes, i AM self-entitled. i made a purchase where i gave money to a company and i do not feel satisfied on any level. First of all, just so you know when civ v first came out (which is when i got it) there was no steam special edition - you could either pay 80 dollars for a version with babylon, 120 dollars for a hardcover book, soundtrack and babylon OR just buy it normal - which i did, under the assumption steam would sell the soundtrack - rather than making it available only through the purchase of a special version.
And you are full of crap. I preordered the Steam Digital Deluxe Edition MONTHS before the game came out for $60.00 bucks and knew EXACTLY what I was getting including Babylon, sound track, and other things. Guess you should have paid more attention to what you were buying.

So the moral of the story is you didn't bother to think and are now mad. Got it.

Before laying into him, know that he's actually right. For a couple months or so (I'm not sure of the exact length of time) after release the edition that included the soundtrack was not available. In other words it was a preorder exclusive until a couple months later. In fact, shortly after release they had Babylon as a for-pay DLC but not the Steam special edition, and then later on the Steam special edition went on sale again (that included the soundtrack).

As I said in a previous post, it's unreasonable to expect someone to preorder a game to get its soundtrack.

Also, the $80 price tag was for some regions. The Steam Special Edition was US$90 in Australia for example. We can thank 2K Games for the regional pricing ripoffs.
