In the world of tomorrow!!
My PC crashed and had to format one of the drives. I have 2 hard drives: C: 60 gig (holds the OS) and D: 144 gig labeled games. D: is the one I formatted.

My problem... My son has a load of steam games that I removed completely from the C: drive and tried to reload in the D: drive. Thing is Steam wants to be in the C: drive. In C:, the drive gets filled too fast and is full. I moved the entire folder to the D: drive; but it don't want to work. I even changed the target location on the Steam Icon to the proper path and still nothing... Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance

You need to reinstall Steam on D. Either that or move everything to D and create a symlink to the old location (requires vista/w7). Or dig through the registry and change all path settings for steam (fire up regedit and search for the old steam installation path).

Actually I think I fixed it. I went into one of the saved games and renamed the save and restated. The update took and is working now... with one happy 14 year old:D
