Please note that all file paths i have used are for my computer only. So if you have installed somewhere different then please amend accordingly. If you still have trouble then PM me or drop a message here and i should get back to you.
- To start, install BAT/BUG as per install instructions EXCEPT FOR:
- Make sure the folder for the mod is installed in the following path on your steam drive:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Mods
- Then, go to the beyond the sword folder and find the game shortcut ("E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword")
- Make a shortcut for this and put it on your desktop.
- Then right click on it and make sure the following is in both the "Starts in" and "Target" fields:
Starts in - "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword"
Target - Target - "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod="BAT Mod 4.1"
Then launch the game using the shortcut and it should work.
