Steam Launch Options

Is there a string I can add so that the popup doesn't come up in Steam to launch the game. I have a NVIDIA card so I'll never use mantle, so can I add something so that option box doesn't come up when I press 'Play'?

Already asked by me and somebody else in the tech support forum.

Looks like nobody knows at the moment, we probably have to wait until somebody from Firaxis notices and tells us.

Showing that every time is likely a contractual obligation with AMD.

I let Steam create a desktop icon to run the game, and it doesn't ask me about the AMD stuff this way.

Yup same - in fact I have the opposite issue. I'd like to create a shortcut that only ran Mantle instead of having to run it from inside Steam, but it'll only create a DX11 shortcut.

agreed, I'd love to figure out the command line used to launch in mantle mode.

(Really, this is the type of thing that should have a Save choice option).

Actually, it may be simpler than I had thought. There appears to be two separate .EXE's, one for DX11, the other for Mantle.

CivilizationBE_Mantle.EXE

Will have to try them out to make sure they work.

Tried them a couple of days ago - they don't work, they give a bug when you try to run them directly or via shortcut.
