Steam service will not start

Hi, finally got a new PC and Civ 5 but am getting this issue with Steam.
When I try and launch Civ 5 it says I need to install a service for this game (other games work) it then says I need to restart steam which I do, try and launch Civ 5 and same thing happens again. I have checked the services in Windows and the steam client service is stopped - if I try and start it it says it cannot start error 193:0xc1

I have tried to delete and re-install steam, I have tried to delete all references to steam client service in the registry and get then re-install but still have the same problem.

I have used Steam since it started and never had any issue, I logged a call with Steam support about 24hours ago but have had no response yet.

I've googled it and checked a few forums but can't find anyone with the same problem.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

Yeah my account has admin rights I'm running UAC at default. When it first tries to install the service it asks for admin rights. I have tried running the service as a newly created admin rights user but get same message. Tried running the service with UAC turned off but get same error starting the service.

FIXED!!!
Got a reply from Steam support with a few things to try and one of them has worked as Civ will now launch!
Oddly the steam client service is still not started and will not start but Civ now doesn't seem to mind.
Oh well long as I can play I'm happy.
