Hi all,
I wanted to install CivV again after a while. Now I had to install Steam as well. But I have no clue what my password is. So I asked for the 'forgot password', now I received this e-mail and have to have an *answer* for the secret question. But Ive no clue  where can I find this? I send an e-mail to Steamsupport, but I guess they are on weekend...

Someone got any idea?

thx in advance.

We can't help you, sorry. Just try to use a password you won't forget next time (and set your secret question to something you'll remember too). Steam support will respond but it may take a few days.

I always write down my passwords on a txt file stored in a USB stick.

I hope that the USB stick is encrypted somehow
It is, and most of the time it's not even connected to the computer.

Now I know how to steal all of your passwords, and probably get a lot of free pictures and videos too.

God damn it Scamp, stop trying to get me overly paranoid .

Anybody splurge on any games on Steam's Summer sale?

I picked up the Valve Pack, mainly for half life 2 (never played), all the hl2 sequels, portal 1 and 2 (saw all the hype, didn't play).. It also came with left4dead 1 and 2 which I heard were good, and stuff like day of defeat, a bunch of counter-strike titles, and ricochet.

Considering that Portal 2 was like $50 when it came out very recently, paying $50 for this whole Valve pack seemed like a too good of a deal to pass up, especially since I loved the original half life and never played any of the sequels.

I also picked up the 2K complete pack for $79.99 even though I already have some of the games. It's the Duke Nukem Forever that convinced me I think, it alone costs $50. I already have Civ V, which this pack comes with, but it also came with all the DLC that I don't have yet. Bioshock 1 and 2 were classics, I know that, but I've never played them. Already have Borderlands, never played Freedom Force but heard it is good, this came with all the Mafia II addons (have the game, no addons), a bunch of sports games, railroad tycoon, shattered union, railroads, stronghold collection (is this game still as good as it used to be?), and all the x-com titles

So.. now I have a TON of new games and I still haven't finished going through the full paradox pack which I bought during their xmas sale.

Anyway, yep, Steam has sure turned me from someone who might download a game or two and not buy anything to someone who buys ALL his games

Yeah, it really does create demand as well as merely meeting it. I've spent more on games in the past week than I have in the past 2 years.... >_<

I bought the 2k pack, I lost my Civ IV disks and I didn't have Civ V yet so I got more than $80 in just Civ stuff
