Stereo Mix Quit Working

I can't get Stereo Mix to work anymore. I use it to record the pronouncation of vocab words in my Spanish Class

If you're using Vista, open recording devices right click > show disabled/disconnected devices.

I am using windows 7, I can see stereo mix but it doesn't seem to hear anything

Is it enabled? (Sometimes on mine I had to reboot when changing devices).
