Calunda was in a good mood. He and his band of travelling nomads had found a good place. There was water, game, hills...
Anything a man needed. His cattle flock would grow great here. "We settle for the night!" He shouted. Small children yaayed, and went to play in the stream. Older children and their parents set their packs on the ground with a sigh, and began to set up the tents. The women helped the Old Ones to settle, and then begun gathering food and making the evening meal.
Tomorrow the young men would go out and hunt. In the meantime though... " Coronay!" He beckoned to his wife. She came to him with her head bowed. "Call together the Council. We will talk. And the Medicine man. Tell him that tonights dance will be by the river, where the big boulder is.he must perform the dance to keep the evil spirits away. Tell the young men to help him, and, Coronay," "Yes Chief?" " bring the Councils supper up to the tent of Council." " you may go."
The Council was summoned. The meal was eaten. The dance was danced.
The Council decided to stay for a few days, maybe even for the summer. The people hurraed when hearing that, and began, after some months, to make ready to build huts. This would become their home for at least 5 months each year.
After a while, some of the people lost the taste of nomad life, and settled down there to live. The city, after a while was called Crakay. [See the son of Coronay, next paragraph.] Others still moved away in the winter, and traded with other nomads.
Some years later, Coronay bore a child.
He was called Crakay. The people rejoiced, but unfortunately he insulted one of the other chief-sons in another nomad tribe.(He was bragging about how his tribe was best, and then the other chief-son, called Borlan said no, his tribe was best, and they began to fight. Now this wasn't the problem. This happened all the time. The problem was that Crakay had, accidentially broken Borlans leg, and that made the whole difference.) From there it just went downwards. Tribes ganged up with other tribes against them, and other tribes ganged up with them against the other tribes, until every minor clan was included in the war.
Calkunda sent two hundred spearmen out to pretend to catch the enemies in a pincer movement, while he sent three hundred spearmen around to catch them from the back.
Orders:
Attack as described in story.
