The Chinese Emperor was pleased with his nations success. They had extensive terriotry especially along the fertile and strong Yangzee River, they had a decent economy and army, and their neighbors to the north showed no signs of aggression and instead were very friendly and advanced. Good neighbors, lots of money and content people was exactly what kept the Kingdom growing. Emperor Win's advisors suggested that in order to ensure years of peace with the Koreans that a land proposal be sent to them along with the first good's to trade with them. Further their discovery of how to mold the mysterious metal of "copper" was highly prized by Chinese alchmists, they would like to know all about the processes associated with this, hopefully their Korean brothers would share it with them.

Diplomacy: China to: Korea: Brothers! We wish to negotiate borders between us. We propose that from the far west border that we now share you take all the land north of a 45 degree line northwest of the border (from far west point of our two borders, make a line 45 degrees to the north and west, koreans north of that, chinese south of it) Also we'd like to begin trade with you and perhaps you could share with us the secrets you possess of copper?

Orders: Split army into 3 parts, go south with one, west along yangzee with another, and northwest along proposed chinese/korean border with the other, be sure to stay south/west of that line
begin trade with koreans if they accept
grow econ by subsidizing all labor jobs, to encourage new technological developments and incresed production

To: Byzantines
From: Bulgars

We will agree to a union, provided we get self-government.

Sorry to here that amirsan. I will probably not start a 4000 BC boardgame for a while, but I am planning on starting an slightly ambitious world map colonization NES after this if you want in. Also, I will start update tonight and probably finish, but wait until tomorrow to post it, since I don't want to deny Jack the chance to post orders since I said update will be tomorrow.

From the Byzantines.

Orders

Take control over the Bulgars also.
Upgrade the economy

Send communications to the Greeks, Yugoslavs and Romanians giving them the choice to join the Hellenistic Union. Annex the islands of Cyprus and Crete

uum, naervod, i asked a similar question to the Mauryans, before the Byzantines asked the Bulgars to unite (so you dont think i copied sheep)

so what do they say? ;)

Mauryans don't exist anymore. ;)

-Events-
South Africans deliver a counter-attack against Zulus, pushing them back, forces lost on both sides.

Byzantines and Bulgars unite! Also, other tribes in the area fear a war of attrition like the one fought between the Bulgars and Byzantines and are kind of receptive to the Byzantines.

Huge earthquakes rock the Anatolian Peninsula and Greece! Byzantine economy takes a big hit, and some soldiers and ships are destroyed as well as work on the Great Port being delayed. However, part of this is offset by the Byzantine and Bulgar unity. Some see it as a sign from the gods that their leader needs to use more leadership skills in his government.

Koreans develop the trireme and use it effectively in expanding on islands.

Olmecs pushed back in Mexico.

South Africa, Egypt, and Assyrians receive Copper Age technology.

-Wonders-
Circle of Bards completed in Scotland, many flock to watch bards perform, celebrating the settling of the isles.

-OOC-
Some of you need to write stories. The person with the lowest confidence suffered some adverse consquences this turn, be warned there will be more next turn if some of you don't get writing.

Scrapped naval age and replaced it with boat types.

No orders from jack_www.

Next update Friday (I got me a day off from school).

Egypt

The two neighboring empires hadn't answered the diplomats questions, but that hardly mattered. Egypt was set to expand ever farther. Like earlier, in two directions.

First Egypt was to secure it's border with Assyria by expanding Southwest till it reached the Persian Gulf. That way, Egyptian land would be safe from foreign influence.

Meanwhile, AAminion00 was also weary that some foolish empires from the North may try to land on Africa from the North. Therefore, Africa's Northern Coast was to be annexed as well.

Meanwhile, a great new weapon was set to give Egypt an advantage that few other empires in the world had at the time. With the discovery of cooper, Egypt was born annew. The wonderful metal filled Egypt's markets and revolutionized it's cities. Whereas once, Alexandria and Thebes were full of tiny shacks, they were now filled with elegant mudbrick houses and beutiful palaces gleaming in the African sun. Likewise, the Egyptian military was set to be changed as well.

Pharaoh AAminion00 ordered the construction of a special set of soldiers, called the Chariotmen. They would consist of a chariot, horses and two men. Whereas the first would steer the steeds and vehicle, the second would fire copper tipped arrows at the enemies. The wheels attached to the vehicle would allow these chariots to go faster than any human-made invention in the world!

Orders

- Expand West along North African Coast

the Was great feast in the Celtic capitol , in the past few years much had been achieved , all of england and ireland were now under Celtic control but most important was that the Circle of the Bards was finished , but there will be no time to rest for us , we need more space to expand and our only option is that landmass to the south , and the Archdruid Arundel has made plans for a new construction of epic scale that will require many ages of hard labour before we can finish it , and there is still the issue to how to equip our woad raiders with this new precious metal 'copper' , if we overload them with weapons they wont be able to use superior speed anymore.

ORDERS
Send the army and navy across the english channel , Expand alon g the shoreline

Increase army size

Start Working on new UU: Celtic Swordsman , they are basically woad raiders with Caledonian swords (ancient celtic bronze swords)

Start Wonder: Stonehenge (Effects +3 education , brings the druids closer to the gods allowing them to predicts better when the god's wrath might strike us (disasters))

Short Wonder Description: A group of standing stones on Salisbury Plain in southern England. Dating to c. 2000-1800 B.C., the megaliths are enclosed by a circular ditch and embankment that may date to c. 2800. The arrangement of the stones suggests that Stonehenge was used as a religious center and also as an astronomical observatory.

The king walked into what would soon be his new throne room - made entirely from copper or copper-colored material. This showed the world what kind of king he was - a modern king. The armies of Assyria were strong as they were, but they could be better, and King Assah was no king to pass up a chance at being more powerful, and having a better and more diverse force protecting and expanding the land of his people.

He was a military king, bent on the fact that Assyria would be made great one day not by the beautiful music they created, not by the prosperous economy of agriculture and even domestication, and certainly not by the religious brutality practiced among the shamans, but by brute force and dertimination of the people. The Assyrians were a people bred for war, a people who once in combat were forever known as the "Mesopotamian Spartans".

However militaristic King Assah was, he was not stupid. In fact he was considered the brightest man in all of Assyria, and probably the world. So when it came to diplomacy, he was ready. Though he would readily attack the Egyptian invadors in the west, he knew his place, and knew that Assyria would benifet more from such an encounter peacefully instead of violantly, given that even though Egypt is a far stretched nation, it's men were numerous, and technology on par with Assyria.
