I am the ottamons and was lucky enough to get a science person so i rushed the temple wonder. I'm on emperor. When i was revolting for monachy it only took one turn. Is this a result of having temples in every town or something

Can anyone explain this strange event!

Scientific & Industrious Ottomans - one-turn anarchy: should not have happened!

It can happen. Very rare, but it is possible. Just means that you were extraordinarily lucky.

I have tried this:

Save - revolt - look at domestic advisor for turns in anarchy - reload - revolt - look at domestic advisor for turns in anarchy - etc.

30 times just to see how many turns I had to stay in anarchy. The results varied from 3 to 8. It was the Mayans.

Welcome to the Tears For Fears club!
Aren't they about to release a new album now?

I remember one game when my civ was in a golden age and my government revolted. The revolt took only one turn. Does anyone know whether the golden age could have caused this? I was not playing a religious civ.

Yes, it is possible. It just happened to me in my a game with the Iroquis in Conquest.
I feel no reason to complain about it...

Ha - thanks blåbæret! Back in the 80ies they were one of my favourites.
Vet ikke om det kommer noe nytt album :(
Hvor i Norge holder du til?

I Oslo. Forresten har jeg kalt meg selv
opp etter tegneseriehelten Løytnant Blueberry.
