I am playing a modified game (scenario) of Civ with a lot of new units and a couple of new civs.
I have finished the game once with these settings but mostly it crashes somewhere near the 1700's.
This time I had an utmost strange experience.Maybe someone can help me out?
I was playing the game, until I found out whenever I was moving with my cursor to a specific area of the map, the game would crash.
It was so strange.
I was building up cities and stuff in that area before in the game, so problems didnt occur.
Suddenly (again in the 18th century) I couldn't move my cursor to that specific area without the crash.
I tried to avoid going there with my cursor so I opened the interior affairs menu and went to the cities which were in that area by scrolling down.I saw the citynames there so I clicked on one of them ,and again the game crashed.
I thought; is there something wrong with the map?It couldnt be the units, they were all over the map for "centuries".It couldnt be the civs I edited, cause they too were there since the beginning. And wasnt I playing for hours on that area without some anomality happening?
I edited the landscape too but not really revolutionary. For example; the mines look like villages, but that's all.Havent got any problems with that too.
The map itself was generated by the game itself, I didnt create it.
Wat could it be?
It couldnt be a specific unit my or an AI civ was building and finished which I have edited wrongly by which the game would crash, cause I once played the game until the end with the same civs and I fully tested all civs.
I didnt touch the sciences or something.
Help me if you can!
You are all wonderfull and I admire this whole civilization community.
I thank you all in advance
