Hi all!

I just started playing this mod and I noticed something strange. Cost for units and buldings seems bit out of place...look at the picture, is this intentional ? For example 120 gold for scout and only 16 for chariot archer ?

Yes it is.

Might I advice that you read the change-log, or you're probably going to have more questions

It shows you that you are already able to purchase that scout but you need 16 MORE gold to buy chariot archer. 150 gold for CA and 120 for scout.

And also damn those american tiles are cheap.

Ok i will read the changelog, but can you explain to me, why chariot or archer in this picture cost so low ?

Ok, thank you, I understand now. :)

I was hoping to give you a chance to mouse-over the price and read the tooltip (which tells you that you don't have enough to buy it) and then save yourself some face :D.

Anyways that's not a CBO feature, it's a EUI feature

I know it's the wrong place to complain, but still I hat this feature.
I want to know how much money I need to buy it, not how money I lack.
Of course it's just simple math to get the desired value, but is still worse than before.

Why do you need the exact cost when you can't buy it with your current money anyway?

I like it. Having the cost tells me quickly how many turns I need.

Because if I have that number, I only need to glance at my money each turn from map view to know if I can buy by now or not.
Knowing only the delta means I have to calculate it beforehand. Sure it's no big deal to add up two numbers, but it irks me that something that was intended to make it easier actually made it more awkward.

You can the see cost on the mouseover anyway, if you are so anal about it.
Chances are if you go to building queue you only care about what you can purchase right now. The vanilla way also forces you to do needless calculations, more so than EUI.
