Strategic view

Does anybody prefer strategic view? please try it before you vote it was missing in civ4

Yes, because there are/were (haven't seen it lately, other than in my first two complete games) graphics glitches that make it impossible to play otherwise.

Even so, it's still pretty cool and I use it occasionally.

I love strat view ... I can actually tell what's going on and what terrain type a tile is without hovering over it ... unfortunately for me, strat view civ5 crashes every 10-15 minutes of play time, usually while zooming around the map between different units.

Crashes in normal view are more like every 10-15 hours of play time ... so needless to say, I rarely play in strat view.

I play in normal view but switching into strategic view and all its overlays is particularly helpful i find. The most helpful for me is the trade routes but it also gives a good overview of military or even general resources.

I've been trying both views and I think I like strategic more. With better pop ups it would be clearly better but it kind of beats the purpose that I have to zoom it too close to see what and how long my cities are building. UI is just so bad currently.
