Three problems related to the strategy layer.

Bug: Signs and lines created in the strategy layer are not saved

Steps to reproduce:
1. Zoom out to activate strategy layer
2. Create signs and lines
3. Save game
4. Load game
5. Signs and lines are gone

Bug: Cannot move settler while new sign or new line selected

Steps to reproduce:
1. Zoom out to activate strategy layer
2. Select new sign or new line
3. Zoom in
4. Try to move a settler
5. Settler won't move

Going back to the strategy layer and selecting view allows you to move the settler

Bug: Selecting the strategy layer turns flag resources off

Steps to reproduce:
1. Turn flag resources on
2. Zoom out to activate strategy layer
3. Create signs or lines
4. Zoom in
5. Flag resources is now off

bumpz!
agree the 3 bugz are annoying, esp the one where the lines and signs are not saved into savegames...

Yeah, the signs and lines are MOST useful to remind yourself what you were doing last time you played - so having them NOT saved is very annoying:mad:

How do I turn on/find/use the strategy layer? I have looked and looked and cannot find anything related to this....
Thanks in advance...

A bit old, but this was the only thread I could find on the subject; doesn't anyone else use the strategy layer? Because then fixing it might be a non-priority, and that would suck...

You can find the strategy layer by simply zooming way out... there are some other informational layers too, for culture, religions etc.

Thanks! Still, they make the strategy layer close to useless, unless you often play through a game in one sitting...
