Stupid question about playing a mod

I've read thru the tutorials here, but I'm still not getting it. How do I play a mod I've installed??

Under Mods => Browse Mods, I've confirmed that the mod I want to play is installed and enabled. Under Mods => Single Player => Set Up Game, I can't select a mod. And under Mods => Single Player => Custom Game, the mod I want to play is not listed as an option.

This should get moved to the general C&C forum; I'll notify the moderators. But anyway, to answer the question:

You go into the Mod Browser and select the mod you want to use by highlighting the little bubble next to each. If they're green, they're ready to go and will automatically be used in the next game you start, as long as you start it through the Mods area.

Back out one level, still inside the Mods area, and select the first option (the one that didn't take you straight to the Mod Browser). The game will pause for a second as it loads the mods you enabled into memory. Then, you'll see Setup Game or Load Game; for most mods, you can't load the game with different mods enabled than the ones used when it was first begun, which the savegame will list in the little "mods" tab under the picture. So if you want to start a new game, pick the first option, and the game will automatically use whatever mods you had enabled.

That's it. There's no second time to pick which mods to use, and no other interface even indicating which mods you're using, with two exceptions:
> Scenario games
> Mods that alter the menu windows themselves (like mine does, as do several of the map script mods)
