I have a really dumb question. I have been posting at this site for about half a year now and I've still not figured out how to get those quotes right...
I mean, I've found the quote button and even figured out how to use it but what I can't figure out it how to get my quote to say : "originally posted by ....."

So, if any of you would be so kind as to enlighten me, I'd appreciate it...

Just push the "quote" button next to the edit button. It just works.

And then start typing, you mean???

Yes, move your cursor below the text box, and type your text there.
You could also quote 'manually'. Do you know how the vB code works (iow how to make text fat or large or orange)?
Don't remove the brackets ([ and ]) that's the trick.

Allright, Ive got it figured out now!!! Thanks..

I was using the quote button in the "post reply" page and then you don't get the "originally posted by ...." part in your own post.
Like I said, stupid question...:crazyeye:

Not really, I was just using the wrong quote button, but I've got it figured out now, finally.....;)

You can also type in the code manually...

Will give you the same result as using the 'quote' button.
