I really didn't know how to identify this question. Words fail me right now.

In the unit editor, the attribute about "acting like a sub," (once agian forgetting what it's called). How does that work? Does it only work for sea units or can you use it for land and air units as well?

Land units can be given the sub attributes for sure..."THE LORD OF THE RINGS" scenario by Harlan Thompson had a land unit called Frodo who had the Sub attributes...thus he was sneaky AND could carrier the ring! (a missle unit!).

As for air units...maybe...no reason why not SO I WOULD SAY YES! suck it and see is my advise!

So yes...I´m pretty sure for both cases...though in my scenario designing I´ve only used it for sea and land units.

Oh and speaking of attribute outside their original domain, has anyone ever tried to give naval units alpine abilities? Does this increase naval movement by three? What about air units. Maybe I will just try it myself and see what happens.

Much to my disappointment, Air and Transport are not compatible.

Does 'x2 vs. mounted unit' apply only to specific units? Or would it double the defence against ANY unit with 2 or more moves?

I use the sub ability to add "stealth" to units. I give it to a unit that i call a spyplane. I have considered giving it to the acutal stealth planes in the game to it works well. I also change the prartroopers to army rangers and give them stats similar to the marine

The exact term for it is "Submarine adv/dis"

DO NOT GIVE IT TO LAND COMBAT UNITS!!!!!!!!!

When given land combat units, they lose their ability to attak land units. However, it can be given to a bomber, and that unit become a torpedo bombers, capable of attacking SHIPS ONLY!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!
You mean, sub caracteristics to air unit?
Can they carry nukes then?
