Successioin game: join in

I said Monday; make that Wednesday. The turns are taking longer than I thought they would.

Posting this at a library.

As you can guess from the fact that Wednesday has come and gone and no .sav has been posted, a sudden development came up; my Net comp crashed and is in the shop.

The good news is, as I've said many times before, Civ2 is not on my Net comp. Therefore, I'm almost finished with my set of turns.

Hey Disco Matt, welcome! Uh, I don't think there'd be a problem with you joining in. Let's see. You can probably go after DSN after Spec.. Our "order" is all mixed up at any rate. Are there any protests from anyone else against this?

I think I've got the list as close as possible to a good order. Here it is:

DSN
DiscoMatt
Old n Slow
Andu Indorin
Jadelicia
Prof. Garfield
Speicalist 290

Let me know if you're missing or if I've got anything messed up :)

Good set of turns. Quick note, put the scientists in Montreal to work on the terrain and build a grainary there, to speed up growth.

Ok, I'll download those files and post them back up today or tommorow.

Ok, I've seen the game now and done a turn.
What should my priorities be?
I think there's a lack of settlers and the incomes not great, though Adam Smith should sort it out

The income is generated by frequent Freight deliveries, meaning you can keep the tax settings low while emphasizing science and luxuries.

As for priorities, I'd say expansion and development is one of them; staying at peace with the other civs (when possible) is another. Other than that, everything's up to you.

Atempt to find a place for a city that could suport lots of engineers, ie. lots of grassland and maby a wheat or something. Obviously, the spot doesn't need to be optimum, just very good, and we can set up more than one of these cities. The more engineers we have, the better.
