Sucking City Limit - any possibility for disabling?

Hey Freaks,

I just downloaded my personal god of civ 2: no limits patch for my loved test of time... and I played like a psycho (just freak). Therefore I built more and more cities and now I reached the limit of 255. It is only at 1615 AD and it would make no sense to continue without expanding an settling. Here my question:

Is there a possibility to kick this limit? Ore is there no chance for me (like a patch)?

I don't hope so cause I'm more than upset.

No. 255 is the max, no way around it.

I guess they didn't consider that a "freak" would play their game to the extreme.
You are not the only one it seems.More than 1 have asked for more cities.

255 should be enough.....

255 cities is not enough if you want to cover the whole world, on the largest map setting...
