Survey, which Unit needs better Art most urgent?

please let me know for which unit/s you would like to see new art next.

This Survey is to help me arranging my to do list according to what Units the average player sees most.
So, please take part and let me know, which Unit needs desperatly new Art, which placeholder is out of place, which graphic annoys you or if you are a fan of a certain civ, what is too plain, yet.
the poll is just an indication, i would like to hear your details in a post too, if the above is not fitting.
But be reasonable, you are allowed to choose more than one, but please try to focus your choice, so the survey actually helps me focusing.

So, different from the Poll we have this (if you support one of these or have a completely different opinion, let me know and please choose the last polloption, so i know where to look for more details and dont miss it out):

-Workers
-Elven Archer (Fellowship of Leaves unit) ... is going to be replaced by Satyr (in progress)
-Paramander
-Beastmaster
 
I went with warriors and scouts. I play a lot of games only through era one so I see these way too much. The scouts have gotten some diversity, but could use more.

But if I had to pick just one choice it would be the warriors.
 
Warriors and scouts too (and the golems cause I love Luchuirps :))

I remember my first game of FfH, I picked random Civ and ended up with the Armurite. I was very happy to see my first warriors looking very different than vanilla warriors (and thought, Woohoo, these guys are so cool! they can use mithril weapons and everything!).

So if every civ had specific units for the earliest, I think it would help for the immersion, especially for the newcomers.
 
I didn't see The Workers listed, I only tried the Vampires and Orcs so far, But Orcs Workers looked cool, but vampires didn't match their Icon in the slightest, But I'd say the workers need the Overhaul... Golem workers should look more golemy and Vampire Workers should look more Like icon, or given a Look that befits Pawns lol past that Most of what I've seen looks awsome :)

I did put a vote for warriors though because those seem relatively untouched... lol
 
worker !!! mud golem is only a sunbathed worker.
Golem !!! (but they are somehow ok)

adept :( .... and mage are most important I think.
(maybe the priest also, all look the same save the aura) or too much like vanilla missionarie..

for warrior and scouts, lots of work is already done. so there are not so many civ left with 'vanilla' unit. so it got only a 0.5 urgency point in my mind.
 
I voted for : warriors, magicians, bowmen and horsemen (chariots are included but I like them as they are).

Although my real vote would have gone to civ specific units for Svartalfar and Sidar.

Sidar and Svartalfar come for shadow, you will see them, when shadow is actually more than just fire on bts... so for now, just dont use sidar and svartalfar ;) (they lack their mechanics anyway, yet)
 
well, the AI uses them unless you play custom games, and there are a couple of implementations good enough for their hidden trait. I know they will come later... too late for me, that's why I'd like something for now at least :D

if you want some inofficial units for svartalfar, try the svartalfar mod from sureshot :)
Otherwise, I hope you understand its not of priority... yet :)
 
My vote is for the early units (Warriors & Scouts), because every game (without an accelerated start) has them. While it's outside of scope, I'd also prefer a bit better gender balance to the units.

genders will come, for sure, i think in the next time, roland, ploe and me will all release a female unit, which can then be base for more female units :)
 
Warriors and scouts. They provide the first impression. Then maybe workers and settlers.
 
ya i voted Warriors and Scouts, tho warriors are much more important (scouts tend to die, but warriors live on).

and of course anything female and anything svartalfar should be highest priority all the time! :p

for svartalfar tho, highest priority would be a wicked female assassin heh
 
Summoners and other spellcasters could use a touch up. In my opinion summoners look now more like merchants because they dont have that "magical" look. :)
 
You missed a big one... The Baron! His spawn got new graphics, and now they look much cooler than he does.. that seems tragic!

I agree with N-K about lizzies. They are great as is.

I wont touch them unless everyboduy wants it to, i just have them as an option, because roland got the model from the web and i dont like using copyrighted stuff :) but if nobody cares, i wont.
 
What I really want is the new art for spellcasters and golems (well, I fell in love with the Luchuirp... ;)). But the golems aren't that important, since you can distinguish them, except for the clockwork golem! I would be really interested in how it might look in the end...
