Sytems Specs, help desperatly needed

Hello fellow fanatics

this is my forst post at this forum, so bare with me if i mess something up (wrong forum etc.)
I was wondering, since my civ4 is running redicually slow; are my system specs good enough...
-768 MB ram
-2Ghz AMD sempron CPU
-GeForce FX5500 256 mb

I personally believe that it is my s**** processor that's is the issue (im a sucker for cheap gear), but i also heard something about peoples radeon cards acting weird, so maybe mine is "sick" aswell...

If anybody has any tips, it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

By the way im playing the european DVD version

There are a multitude of threads that will help you out. Just go to the tech support section and look for threads on your specific problem. you'll find LOTS of them cause a lot of people have the similar problems with this game.

There are a multitude of threads affirming your claim that this game runs ridiculously slow. So no, I don't think there's anything wrong w/your system.

The patch is said to come out this week. Hopefully that will make the game faster for you. The specs of your system look like they should be able to handle decently.
