Help!

I want to use the tactical nuke as a long range conventional weapon instead of a nuke, but unchecking nuclear weapon/tacctical nuke in the editor changes the animation so it wont do the launch anim, anybody know a way around this?

Well.... there is a cheat that makes the nuke act like an ICBM. Maybe it was fixed in the new patch but before it if you pressed g (as in, the go command) then b for bombard it gives it infinite range.
 
Why don't you just increase the range of the cruise missle? It's already a tactical missle
 
No I want to use the tactical missile because I like the animation, but it wont work if I try and make it conventional, the animation goes funny.
 
Yes, I would like that too: a tactical missile wich is not a nuke or a cruise missile to animate the V2 for example.

Interesting, I have been searching for the same objective as wanted a lighter missile than TN. So far found:

1. need to deselect nuclear weapon
2. keep tactical
3. add cruise missile
4. adjust bombardment
5. adjust range

I have been keeping range at 6. I have not found good bombardment/offense values yet.

Still get the TN strike effects, don't get nuke pollution. I'm trying with setting of bombard 100. 4 x 24 MA in army. Only one hit, but does do some good. Don't like weapon yet. Still working on it. If you find a good solution, post it.
