Yey! I just finished downloading it and it works

It was a huge 204mb to download and since I only have a 56k modem, it took awhile to download.

Has anyone else got this game, as it will soon be released as a retail game or do you have any stories about huge downloads you have had to make?

Yes it is. The skins are very different. I just played it and couldn't tell which team each player was on...

Yeah, I had a problem with that in 2.2 and I got used to it but this version is a lot harder. I guess the point is to not get lost from your group.

BTW, why are we even in the UG clan? They lock the server and I can't get in.

We are not anymore. The UG clan has nearly been destroyed. The actuall UG clan want to merge with anothe rlcan whilst the founders want to start a new UG clan.

oh, just FYI, Matt, I "found" a 700MB iso file of tact ops while wandering on DC Hubs looking for new released candies Apparently I heard that finally TO will become a full commercial game and will be no more free.
You can always try to get that file

I'm sure To is like other Mods like couter strike. You can download the retail version for free and legally but you can also buy it and get a few extras. The retail version is Assault on Terror, which is the version me and PH have downloaded.

i downloaded it .sorry to say it for you guys but it sux.
unrealistic weapons its to easy to kill someone(i never played it i went multiplayer and i owned everyone)

Um, that is the whole point of it....and I complain that it is too hard to kill people sometimes (10+ bullets from an MP5 and they are still up....I must just be hitting them in their armor). Play Dell and I sometime phillipe....we are decent players. I have been to servers before where I have ruled...it all depends on the server you go to.

It's a commercial version not the free one

If you join a game early then its usually easier to do well...I am suprised though that you aparently did so well the first time you played the game. Would you mind telling me which maps you played on?

The commercial version is virtually the same as the free version so PH is basically correct.
