You are on the offensive as Autocractic Australians. The Evil Mvemba's last chariot has just stupidly one of your 2 battlecry crazy warriors and it is now your turn to take Mvemba from down under. Just below Bulawayo is a Battering Ram, you can upgrade to swords in 7 turns. Above Umgungundlovu is the unwalled city of Ulundi with no garrison. How would you move your troops in this situation? There is no right or wrong answer because the AI is stupid... but just what would you move in what order? The archer on the left is in a grassland campus.

Move the warrior on the lux forward, move the archer to his place move the archer with the promotion on the forest behind the mountain and pelt the chariot as much as possible this turn and next with three archers.

Do you have flanking discovered? Becuase that changes things.

Anyway, move wounded warrior to hill SE, move other warrior E to jungle, put the wounded archer onto the jungle SW of city, keep the full HP archer where he is. Heal up the spear.

Next step: move the spear to where the wounded warrior is now, put a full HP warrior onto the jungle W of the oranges, leave oranges empty, let the wounded warior heal up.

Defend until iron.

Then upgrade the warrior you moved SE in the first round, and push to the farms toward Umgungundlovu with 2 archers and the ram, while simultaneously pushing out with the warrior, spear and 1 archer along the river.

Attack on Umgungundlovu:
Sword on farm S of city, behind him 2 archers (1 on hill, 1 on desert), spear on the campus, warrior where the zulu archer is now, your archer where the zulu chariot is now.

Many ways to play it but here is what I did

Tactically unsound. You exposed your warrior to city walls. When you get iron, your warriors will be severely wounded, with no ways to heal fast (if one even survives), so you delay your sword push because of this. And you are on the wrong side of the river ;) You went aggressive too soon.

Try loading and playing it out as I suggested. Curious now :)

kill the chariot with your two +1 archers. Get warriors out of the way--they are a hindrance until upgraded. next turn I expect his archer will not run away (and the last thing I want is his archer running into the city with walls... a pain to deal with; in your last screenshot not sure what AI would do but I think he will run across the river away from your warriors onto the rice) and shoot at my archer (which should survive). Then you have 3 archer shots finish off his archer next turn.
