I played persians. Got all the wonder and most policies regarding golden ages.

Then I built Taj Mahal and got 70(!) days worth.

Can this be right?? It must be a bug, right?

I had 50 turns for golden age with this :) Then it went down to 42 and a great somebody was born.. nicee, back up to 50 :)

I think there is a bug, but I haven't taken the time to test my theory:

Playing standard game speed as India, having built Chichen Itza, the Taj Mahal triggers a 22-turn GA. As Persia, the same conditions trigger a 49-turn GA. I expected 33 turns, but it seems that an extra 50% multiplier is applied here (33 * 1.5 = 49.5).

What I don't know is the length of GA given by Taj Mahal without Chichen Itza.

Almost certain a vanilla Taj Mahal with no modifiers is a ten turn Golden Age.

You can extend a Golden Age with Great Persons, and if I had to guess, I'd say that building a Taj Mahal while already in a Golden Age also just adds turns onto your current one.

There's a number of modifiers, but I haven't really seen anything bizarre from it. I also haven't played as Persia yet, though.

Taj Mahal Golden Age turns (Standard game speed)
Egypt, without Chichen Itza: 15
Egypt, with Chichen Itza: 22
Persia, without Chichen Itza: 33
Persia, with Chichen Itza: 49

So, is it a bug, or is Persia's bonus supposed to be applied twice with Taj Mahal?
