I'm trying to figure out how to take down the red dragon. More specifically, I need to figure out how to actually reach his city with a force sufficient to do anything to him. I'm pretty sure I have units that can get him (a beastmaster with subdue beast, for instance, and Chalid Astrakein to soften everyone up nicely), but as we approach the city, we get pounded by waves of fire elementals. How do I either get past them or take protect my important units from them?
I'm playing as the Sidar, would it be effective and/or worthwhile to use my world spell to make everybody invisible until we're right next to them?
