K after much discussion and pitboss not working we're playing a PBEM.

4 players but can stretch to 5, dont really want 6 because then chances that someone would drop out would increase.

All random civs unless you really REALLY want another civ.

Small Pangea maybe plains not sure, everything else Random, everything except conquest turned off.

obvious rules-
no tech trading till alphabet
no talking to someone till you've met them
no map trading till paper

well id play a one on one but would prefer a couple more people.

i only explored with that settler because i didnt notice it was there ive founded my city now (after it was running away from the barb)

So what the heck did you mean by the cricket comment. AND do we have any other rules...besides common sense thing like no tech trade till alphabet or map trade till paper. Turn timer?--I will be gone in about a month for a week so just keep that in mind. In case you havent figured it out..this is my first PBEM.
