Etain... ah, OK, that explains how you kept palette indexes when you pasted back to the File. Other Programs do not Hold the Palette indexes when Copy/Paste is used when there are several of the same colors in the palette. They use colors rather than indexes. The work around is to just change the colors so they differ for those programs then change them back or load the original Palette.

First, I want to thank Vuldacon for the tutorial on editing the palette. I've been playing around with different looks and have come up with two similar variations to the color disc. One is bolder than the other, and really stands out, while the smaller version is there just enough to aid in seeing what nationality the unit is. Here are both versions.

Thanks, all I did was clip the South, East & West corners of the reddish-brown diamond just below the color disc and pasted it over the circle. The bold one really looks good in-game, especially with foot units. Once again, thanks for the help, now that I know how to tweak the palette, I may start playing with other stuff too.
