HEy just a few quick questions

IS there a spreadsheet somewhere with how many beakers each tech is?

Is it worthwhile to invest in factories and all the plants that come afterwards? i mean obviously shield wise it is but does the pollution make it counter-productive as a whole?how bad is pollution anyway?

and this happened to me last game. I was splitting a continent with egypt, whom i have a mutual protection pack agreement with. THey have about 7 or 8 units fortified or just standing along dif parts of my borders in their territory. They continue to slowly add units. How worried should i be?

Thank you guys very much

I am not sure about a list, may be one, but all you need is the base cost for each tech. That does not change for other settings. You then need to know the other factors. MM maps size cost,
level cost.

One easy way is to get Techcalc from the utility forum. It lets you dial in the version (C3.PTW and C3C) and even some scenarios. The select level and size and the tech. It will show the cost.

I think a case could be made for factories, but I do not use them extensively. In a std game, non AW, I figure that by the time you have Industry, you have a good size army for your style.

If so, how many troops will I need to be making as I go along? Three or four cities with a factory will probably be enough. I am probably not going to need to make a lot of structures from that point forward and only a few cities need them quickly.

Playing AW on a massive map, going to need a lot for troops coming out all the time, so more cities need a factory.

Pollution is not a big issue. You have rails and can clean it and put the citizen right back to work.

Hard to say, if I have enough on the border to deal with them, not going to worry. I would have enough to deal with as I will be planning for the time I intended to kill them. Manifest Destiny don't you know?

As long as you clean it up pollution with enough workers to finish in one turn, it usually isn't to bothersome.

Move how every many workers/slaves it takes to remove the pollution. Clean it, go to city find the citizen that was put to specialist (joker) and put them back on the tile. No harm done.
