Tech discovery quotes in MP

In single player, when a new tech is discovered you get a cute quote to go with it. In multiplayer, you just get "you have discovered [x]". Is there some way to change it so that multiplayer games have the quotes as well?

Not that I'm aware of, think this was put in as a way of moving the game along. One less popup window to worry about.

Yeah; and in fast-paced multiplayer games I think it's better this way... but I usually don't play fast-paced multiplayer games. Oh well. Too bad for me, I guess.

In mp the last thing I would want is a pop up forced on me ^^
