Hey all,
I'm kinda looking at getting back into SMAC after playing CIV III for a while. I liked the tech trading in Civ, in that you could research some techs and really clean up in trades with the computer if you researched the right ones.
Tech trading in SMAC seems much more limited--1 for 1, and no negotiation on cash price if you buy or sell techs.
So the question is: is it worthwhile to sell techs to the AI, as they usually offer what seem like small amounts of cash. I'm playing as the university, and I'd like to exploit my tech advantage in some way other than just by having more powerful military units.
How about comm links and world maps...do you sell those?
