Technology queue in Civ4

Is is possible to queue technologies for each city, in the same way that you can queue units, buildings and wonders in the City Screen?

Can anyone tell me how to do this, or refer me to a place on this site or in the manuals that describes how to go about it?

If you mean technologies to research, I don't think you can queue technologies by city.

Even if you could, it's probably inefficient to research 2 or more technologies at the same time - better to get 1 tech in 5 turns and the other in 10, than to get both techs ten turns later.

If you want to research a tech with multiple prerequisites, click on it in the tech tree, and the game will queue up the prerequisites before researching your desired tech.

If you hold the shift key while clicking through your tech path (prerequisites are automatically queued) they will be researched in order. The only problem I have is when I set one up, but get not horses or copper nearby, thus having to switch it all around for an IW beeline. Otherwise it works wonders for me actually planning out my tech path

you can't research more than one technology at a time... research is empire-wide not by individual city
