I beelined for this and managed to get it on an emporer game, coupled with the 10% pantheon it turned my capital into a huge size city in no time.
Everyone seems to go on about stonehenge and GL,but, what about this little, forgotten wonder.
I know maybe at deity you wouldn't get it,but, has anyone else taken advantage of it?

Ibuild it in Only One City challenge. Before Hanging gardens.
In other game, I don't have always the time to build it or prefer Stonehenge for Faith.

I think it's not impossible in Deity to have it. In Immortal easier than GL or Stonehenge, for my experience.

I rarely pick this up as I usually focus on getting Stonehenge in all my games. Boring I know. But having a strong religion with the first pick on beliefs can really help anyone achieve any goal.

Once in a while if i'm lucky i'll pick this up and combine it with Fertility Rites, Swords to Plowshares, and full Tradition (Landed Elite + Finisher).

So, that comes to 10%+15%+10%+15%= 50% growth modifiers in the Capital. Add to the extra base food from LE, a good grassland start, potential Hanging Gardens, and internal trade routes and you could definitely scrape the upper limits of population for a single city.

There are 2 or 3 early wonders that are worth going for, but up to immortal you need to bag them by turn 40 or you lose them.

I have also been shooting for Stone Henge lately with mixed results.

However, Oracle by 55-60 is really good if you can do it.

Actually, that would be 40% growth, and a 10% food bonus. That's what the Temple of Artemis actually is. It's far better than Fertility Rites.

A size 35 city with +10 food normally would have +15 if it worked the way you think. But in actuality, the city with the Temple of Artemis would be growing at +25. The Temple is adding +8 food to the city from its percentage bonus, and that gets improved by your growth bonuses.

I'd never try this on a higher difficulty, but in my Emperor games I snag BOTH Stonehenge and Temple of Artemis every game.

I build a worker while researching calendar, then research mining directly after whilst building Stonhenge. Archery straight after mining.

The two Great Engineer points allow me to get a GE very quickly, and I can rush build Oracle or Macchu Picchu. I think people underestimate how much extra gold the latter can bring in.

One reason is that not everyone bought the Wonders pack. You don't see many (if any) Immortal/Deity strategies with these bonus wonders, assuming they even have them.

ToA is the single most powerful science and production wonder in the game PROVIDED YOU CAN SUSTAIN THE HAPPINESS TO REALLY BENEFIT FROM IT. The reason why it loses value as difficulty increases is because it comes at the cost of better locations for other cities as well as because stealing workers earlier often causes us to face difficult happiness bottlenecks in the early game.
