I am CivGeneral, and I approve this message

As we enter the 2nd term, we are going to be entering into a new era. We are crunched up into a little corner with 2 major bullies pushing us around.

I will post up a copy of my platform her from the nominations thread.
  • A war against the Dutch, possibly eather eliminate them or force them to become a landlocked nation.
  • A standing armed force that consists of mainly swordsmen for the upcomming war against the Dutch in the future. We need to have enough units to capture and withstand the defenders. The Swords must be vet units and "The Vet Program" goes more in detail in this.
  • Defense for the homeland, Before that we get entangled into the war against the Dutch we need at least a spearmen defending our cities. Leaving a city wide open with no defense is an invitation for invasion for our enemies. In order to prevent this, we need to have spearmen defending our cities, especialy our frontier/border cities
  • The Vet Program, I will push forward to get at least one barrack to be built in a city that is connected to iron. Vet Swords are esential for the war effort since they last longer than regular swords and can withstand whatever the defender throws at our attacking swords.

Thank you and vote for CivGeneral for Term 2.

You don't change horses in midstream, Civ General did a jolly good job in term 1 and with war on the horizon we shouldn't just switch, I urge all citizens to vote for CG

im here......i still believe u should vote for me i believe i have both skill and capacity to wage war and be successful even so close to war

I'm for the Dutch war, so I voted for CivGeneral. It'll be interesting if a pro-Indian war person needs to work with a pro-Dutch war person...

Perhaps I should have made it clear that if I was voted in I would poll for which nation our country wanted to wage war and thus wage a successful war not only military but in all aspects of the nation ie. economics, labour, production etc. Anyone can win a war it is the successes after victory that really shows a great General, I see no plans of CivGeneral for the occupation or the major objectives that are both military and economically bound but rather a manuplation of the people into a war of conquest with no occupation plans and direct planning with the other departments ie. domestic office, trade and commerce and foreign if he had why hasnt he annonced such plans with each department why havent the people been notified etc of this? That is why you should vote me I plan for an efficent defence dept. rather than robost one a cooperative dept. not a self-centered one (note: do not mean to imply that CIvGenreeal is this it is simply the way the defence area has been runned in a tradition of other past Demogames in which my reforms are not being pushed through) and that is why I should be voted. My above points are not personal shots at CG and I apolgise they appear to be but they are shots at the running and the set vision of how the defence dept. should be run, which has an adverse effect on the government as a whole in which I wish to change for the better of the nation as a whole and that is why u as the citzen of our nation should vote me.

If eleced I would strive to do the following:

1) Form two sub-departments for the defence dept. they are the Directorate of Engineering Services and Techical Support (DESTS) and the Defence Material Organisation (DMO). DESTS will control the labour pool in the military, which will consist of Foreign workers who should be under our jurisdication as they will be made up of POW's, its aims will be the construction of roads/rails, forts, etc for the needs of the military. This will minismise the economic and domestic impact of the needs of the military to to the civilian government and in turn the people, by not using the work force of the Domestic office and thus hamper roads, rail, irragation, etc for public use. The DMO will handle the contract management and constructing of the military, working alongside with both the doemestic office and governors in their prospective provinces on production of the military, this will allow stop from "random" units being constructed, and designate training areas for the training and forming of new divisions ie. rather than build barracks in every city and thus force a larger maintenence levy on taxpayers that could serve better else where. Thus, allow a better planning to the developemnt of the military without hampering the civilian needs. In turn allowing more inter-cooperation between the various governmental agencies. This depts. I believe will increase the efficency of both the military and the economy as a whole, allow more cooperation between the governemt and increase employment levels in regards to players interaction.
2) Mobilise the military to prepare for offensive operations against India (based on the view of the unofficial poll) and allow in this mobilisation for a larger swordsman arm in the military.
3) Develop military tactical offencive and defencive operations doctrines and occupational procedure
4) Build a series of defesive earthworks to our Dutch-Fanat.. border just in case of Dutch intervention
5) Form the State Defence Council (SDC) consisting of ministers from diffrent departments to discuss the allocation of resources and cooperation directly to one another about the progression of the defence dept. and shall be open to any other prospective citzen of society
6) develop a long term plan for the expansion of the army for an extend period in conjuction with the DMO and SDC over the entire term
7) To defeat our enemies

A VOTE FOR Ali IS A VOTE FOR U
