So you admit, is has nothing to do with the issues and you aren't in fact voting for Blackheart (who I beleive would be good anyway), but voting against Noldodan. Case closed! :hammer:

Fats Cats is not a tern designated to old schoolers. It is designated towards the chat elitists who have voted as a block since I joined.

I did not vote for Nolodan because he is a member of the fat cats and I do not think that block voting techniques are appropriate. I also despise how they will support one of their own no matter what.

It evident in this very thread. Heart answered much more thoroughly but the fat cats still come to support one of their own.

@Strider, how do I always vote for DZ and donsig when this is the first time I have voted in a year and a half.

You also just admitted to not having a single idea what is going on inside of this game. Also, Nold has not joined the chat for several months. The only regulars in the chats are mostly Off-Topic posters.

I myself am part of the chat regulars whom also frequents the Off-Topic secion of the forums. I am not part of the voting block/clique.

My votes are based on who I remember being in the block and from my inspection of the forums in the last 2 weeks or so. You will probably have noticed my increased lurking and even posting from time to time lately.

@Zarn - this is an issue. It is an issue I take to heart that I feel affects the demogame very much.

@Strider - I talked about not knowing what happened in DG3. Big difference.

No, there is lots of old blood I like(For example : donsig, DZ, Ek, SaAM. ), but there is also an ugly side to most of the old schoolers that are left. The fact is that no matter what happens, people like Strider and Nolodan will always support people like Chieftess, regardless of ability etc...

When I was very active in the DGs, this type of elitism killed the game for me. Watching people vote for friends and not skill in the department infuriated me.

Now I am here to make sure all the "fat cats" as I call them, perish miserably.

Sorry to burst your bubble but... I may be part of a voting block, but I didn't ask for it, and I certainly don't vote in it. In the sentencing poll for Chieftess a few weeks ago, I voted to impeach because of her past offenses. And now in this election, I voted for Civman rather than Strider. And that's all I have to say on this. Please stop posting about this subject, and that goes for Zarn and CG and Strider too.

Yes, can we please get back to the elections and take this heated debate to another post please?

Isn't voting anti-block sort of voting by party? You don't care about their stance, just so long as you don't remember them. ;)

Goony, boy, you ain't seen **** when it comes to voting blocs. This is nothing. You've got a couple of people who support eachother. That is perfectly fine, logical, and nothing to be worried about. You can start *****ing about fat cats when things get like this: http://www.simcitycentral.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4014&start=0

And that was really fun, by the way. :p

I voted for Noldy, since he has experiance. And, last time I checked, that was a good thing. ;)

I tell people to shut up, and I get this. Epimethius, I know you're not going to like this but... *smack* I know you've got experiences from past "Democracy" games, but don't bring them up here. Now, I know you don't care about making friend here in the Demogame, but posts like this are not the way to go about it. I guess my point is... just SHADDAP!

Those weren't democracy games. That's the whole point. In one of them, I spent more time writing silly decrees than I did runing the game. I consider those to be a lot more fun, too. :p

What I'm trying to say is that politics here is nothing compared to what it could, very easily, be. So quit yer *****in.

In case you haven't noticed Epi, I have experience in running the government too, albeit not as governor. What I don't have experience in is screwing up ;) (not to say that Noldy has done a bad job or anything)

People learn from their mistakes. Everyone makes them. Mistakes are just fine, honestly, assuming that the person learns from them. If Noldy has made any mistakes, I would consider that an even larger plus for him. Though no one ever said that he did. Which means that, since neither candidate made any mistakes, you really shouldn't have brought that up. ;)

I brought it up because I remember it from a 1992 presidential debate when Pat Buchanan said something along those lines.

Congratulations with Governorship Blackheart, at least I do not expect Zarnia to produce many military units, but I certainly needs Zarnia military reseach potential :)

Congratulations Lord (Governor) Blackheart! Even though I didn't vote for you, I will still support you in office.

I hereby hand the keys to the province of Rik Meleetia err Blackheartia err Zarnia over to Blackheart.

In a couple of days, I will run the Zarnian.... Domestic Ministry, so be nice if you want funding. An example of being nice is not changing the name of the province.

Motto: All your taxes are to belong to Zarn! :mischief:

Thank you everyone who has supported me. I will condition the tradition of iron hand rule and harsh oppression of the masses! Er, oops I mean democracy, freedom, and propserity for all!
