Citizens of Fanatikos!

Term II has just begun, and now we are in a dilemma. Listen! In the last turnchat, the settler being produced by Olympus, this settler the future founder of the city of Priapos, was really not pumped out because of a one shield difference. Thanks to that, we are certainly going to waste our precious production in what we could temporarily ignore and switch to something like a library, that can be produced now with no waste of shields and would give us science and culture. But then, here is the question: can we delay the founding of Priapos to build the library in Olympus, or the need for the 5th city of our glorious Fanatikos is so urgent that we can't wait any more turns? To all citizens, specially governor Provolution, I ask this question: can we wait just a few more turns, or not?

Urgent

Heh, I am foreigner, so if you don't understand some parts of this post then PM me. Thanks.

Bad English does that.

Can anyone post any reply, please? Is it true that nobody wants to talk about Olympus :(?

Congratulations with your governorship Civlord. :)

Your English is all fine, better than some homegrown Americans I met when I lived in California, as well as some odd American fellows I met on the Internet. So do not feel ashamed at all.

However, I expect that settler to be complete next turn. A one shield waste on a build does not justify delaying that settler. For every turn Priapos is in existence, it provides the nation a net surplus of golds and upwards as the city grows, so let's not be cheap, good old Brazillian chap and colleague ambassador. :)

Just max out food and let the city recuperate after this massive birth, this "child" will bring mother Olympus a lot of joy in increased gold output.

On that note, I am turnplayer next time.

Thanks, Provolution. DZ suggested me to wait for the settler and build a library. Perhaps I will open a poll, but now, after pondering it carefully, I think this is not necessary. The common good is above all:).

On that note, I am turnplayer next time.

Congrats, Provolution. I think this makes the whole difference;).

Actually, it would be 4 shields wasted.

Anyways, with building a settler first, after that the city would grow in 3 turns acquiring 11 shields, then the library would be complete in 4 turns after that, with 16 food in the box (this assumes you still want to build a library after the settler), for a total of eight turns.

With building the library first, it could be complete in 2 turns, the city would grow in 2 turns (and the lux slider would have to be used, but the greater income from Olympus would make up for that) acquiring 12 shields, and the settler would complete 3 turns after that, with 13 food in the box, for a total of seven turns.

I think building Priapos six turns earlier would make up for the one turn production loss in Olympus and the income loss.

I would defenately beleve that the library should be built first and after that another worker, depending if we have enough funds to burn.

I have suggested that Olympus should not be left out of wonder consideration, we'll have to see what the results of the inevitable poll are before finalizing plans on what to build next.
