Is Test of time worth buying? It will cost 150 Swedich crowns fore me (approximately 15 US dollars). I already have the original civ2 and I think it's great.

If you like playing with big maps. Yes. Think of play with 4 big maps. Very nice game. Bad thing is the throne room is gone along with a few other things like that. Like the moving graphics. All and all if you like Civ2, you will want to add this to your collection.

I say wait for Civ III, unless you are a fanatic like me--then, I say buy it, because you can't control the urge. I will probably buy everything eventually. Last night, I played TOT and I was just showing it to a friend...I couldn't stop playing. The only thing I don't like about TOT is that the graphics are too dark, but you can download better ones from our site.

The only other thing that I don't like about TOT is that building a scenario or modpack is like choosing the president in this country...it takes forever.

I think that if you want a different twist on the game, buy it. I will be making modpacks for TOT soon, anyway.

Good News! I've nearly completed my Civ2 upgrade. I think I am going to call it, "Greater Civilizations." It is should be ready in a week or so. I have taken the trouble to even change out graphics in other parts of the game that are not normally even changed. No screen shot yet, but I will post more as Civ News.

ToT is great as long as you don't want to play scenarios....

TOT is GREAT

I have both Civ2 and TOT, and I am convinved that it was worth the money. It would benefit from scenarios, but I never get bored of TOT.

If you have a slow computer or connection, just stick with Civ II, it's basically the same.
