Wierd character at end each word for all text in games (menus OK).

Another bit of information. I've changed my settings in XP to reduce the memory imprint and improve performance. So I'm now running XP Classic theme, don't have any wallpaper, removed all the start menu options, removed the clock off the task bar etc.

Text corruption is gone. I'll post in a save game anyway.
