Finally! Maps up to medium work perfectly, and I dont even meet recommended specs!


I rebooted my computer, then updated my driver, and got SP2, and it worked! Thanks everyone who helped me, especially Ainwood! (sp?)

I guess I can start posting in other boards on the forum now!

(im going to be doubling my RAM soon so the comp. meets reccomendations. Then the gaming will really begin! )

Edit: To all who still dont have it working, good luck, and dont give up! I took my 48 hrs., but I got it working and its SO worth it!

Well, technically the last thing i did was the driver, but the thing that really did it was the rebooting, so if youre at a last resort, i say do it! then get SP2 and update your driver. Im doing fine now (i once had black terrain, ******** maps and leaders, and super slow gameplay) and im only working off of 256 RAM!

PS-make sure you backup your files (duh)

PPS- Huge maps still dont work But the rest do. Battles are also a bit choppy (both results of my low RAM im sure)

PPPS-Im using 48 MB NVidia GForce MX
